Supported Platforms

Last Updated: August 27, 2026

This page is the single, authoritative list of the platforms on which Earnesty can verify a post. Know Reply Inc. (“Know Reply”, “we”, “us”) maintains it, and every other Earnesty document points here rather than keeping its own list — so there is exactly one place to look and exactly one place that can be wrong. It applies to APPs running an earned tier and to USERs earning on one. Where an Earnesty document says “a Supported Platform”, it means a platform listed as Live below.

1. The List

PlatformStatusVerification methodsPlatform-native disclosure label
XLiveCheck now · Paste the URL · Daily sweep on paid plansPaid Partnership / Content Disclosure — observed and encouraged, never a gate
YouTubeAnticipatedPaste the URL expected at launch”Paid promotion” — creator-declared and shown to viewers, but not readable by us (see §3)
BlueskyAnticipatedAuthor feed and post lookup · Paste the URLNone — Bluesky has no such label

Live means we are verifying posts on that platform today.

Anticipated means we intend to support it and are not verifying posts on it yet. An anticipated platform is not a commitment to launch on a particular date, and a post made on one does not earn until that platform is Live. Nothing you read anywhere else in our documents should be taken as promising otherwise.

2. Verification Methods

Three methods find a post. Which ones a platform supports depends on what that platform’s API allows; which ones an APP has depends on its plan only for the third.

  • Check now. A USER asks us to look for their own posts on the platform. Free, on every plan, as often as once a minute. On platforms with a search horizon (seven days on X), a post older than that is found by the URL instead.
  • Daily sweep. For an APP on a paid plan, we search the platform once a day for posts carrying the APP’s Partner Tag, so a USER who posted and never checked is still found. Free-plan APPs do not have this; their USERS’ posts are found when the USER asks.
  • Paste the URL. A USER can hand us the post’s public URL directly. This is the universal fallback and it works on every Live platform. On some platforms it is the only path.

Whichever method finds the post, the Verification checks are identical and entirely mechanical, and a Claim’s base value is fixed at the post’s timestamp — so the discovery method never changes a Claim’s base value. The reply bonus is settled once, five days after the post’s own timestamp, so the discovery method does not change that either — a post found late settles on exactly the same schedule as one found immediately.

3. Platform-Native Disclosure Labels

Some platforms let a creator mark a post as paid or sponsored. Where one exists and we can see it, we record it and encourage its use. It is never a gate — a post qualifies on the Partner Tag in the post itself, which is the disclosure Earnesty actually requires and the only one that works identically everywhere (ADR 0004).

That is not a stylistic preference. Researched 27 August 2026, the platforms differ so sharply that a design depending on the native label would only ever have worked on X:

  • X — observable. The label is exposed and we record what we see.
  • YouTube — exists, but we cannot read it. The flag is real (paidProductPlacementDetails.hasPaidProductPlacement on the Data API v3 video resource) and YouTube shows viewers an “Includes paid promotion” overlay. But the API discovery document states the field “can only be retrieved by the video owner”, and the viewer-facing overlay is reachable only by means YouTube’s Terms of Service restrict. A creator could authorize us to read it, but that turns an independent observation into creator self-attestation, and we will describe it that way rather than as verification.
  • Bluesky — no label exists. Neither Bluesky nor the AT Protocol lexicon has any paid-partnership, sponsored, or advertising field. Disclosure there is plain text and hashtags. Bluesky’s Community Guidelines still require commercial content to be disclosed, so the obligation is real while the machine-readable affordance is absent — which is precisely the gap the Partner Tag fills.

Why this matters to a USER: the Partner Tag in your post is what counts, everywhere. You never have to find a platform setting for a post to qualify, and on two of these four platforms there is no setting to find.

4. Each Platform’s Own Rules Apply

Every Supported Platform has its own developer agreement, its own user terms, and its own rules about automation, incentives, and disclosure. Those rules bind us in how we operate Earnesty, and they bind USERs in how they post.

  • Nothing in any Earnesty document licenses a violation of a platform’s rules. Not this page, not the Terms of Service, not the Participation Agreement, not the Earned Tier Program Rules. Where an Earnesty document appears to permit something a platform prohibits, the platform’s rules govern and the Earnesty permission does not apply.
  • APPs must run their earned tier consistently with each platform’s terms, and must not ask a USER to do anything on a platform that the platform prohibits. If a platform tells us an APP’s program breaks its rules, we may suspend Verification for that APP on that platform.
  • USERs post under their own platform account and remain subject to their platform’s rules. Earnesty has no ability to protect a USER’s platform account and does not indemnify a USER against platform enforcement.
  • We are not a party to your relationship with a platform, and platforms are not our subcontractors. Their availability, rate limits, pricing, access tiers, and API surfaces can change without notice, and a change can remove a capability we relied on.

5. Platform-Derived Data Obligations

Some of what Earnesty holds came from a platform, and the platform’s developer agreement, not Earnesty, sets how long we may keep it. Where a platform’s terms are stricter than our own retention schedule, the platform’s terms win.

In practice this means:

  • Deletion follows the platform. Platform developer agreements — X’s notably — require that content deleted on the platform be deleted downstream. We refresh post content and public engagement counts against the platform, and when a source post is deleted, made private, or otherwise stops being publicly available, we remove the platform-derived content and metrics we were holding for it.
  • The settlement record survives. We keep the minimal record needed to evidence a completed transaction and to satisfy disclosure-compliance recordkeeping: the platform post ID, the post timestamp, the granted value, and the terms snapshot. That record is ours, not the platform’s, and it is what lets us show — to the APP, to a USER, or to a regulator — that a reward was earned honestly.
  • Retention periods you cannot negotiate with us. Because some of these periods are set by a platform rather than by us, we cannot extend them on request, and an APP cannot contract for a longer one. Requests to shorten them are handled under the Privacy Policy and the USER Privacy Notice.
  • A deleted post does not unwind a settled Claim. Deleting a post removes the platform-derived data, and a post that is not public at settlement earns no reply bonus. A Reward already granted for that post stays granted. See the Earned Tier Program Rules.

The full retention picture, including what we hold that did not come from a platform, is in the Privacy Policy, the USER Privacy Notice, and the Data Processing Addendum.

6. Changes to This Page

This page changes. Platforms get added when we can verify on them, statuses move from Anticipated to Live, and a platform’s own terms can force a change on us with little notice. We will update this page and its Last Updated date when that happens, and we will tell APPs directly before removing a Live platform or materially reducing what we can verify on one, where the change is within our control. Where a platform forces the change, we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can.

A change here never reaches backwards. Adding or removing a Supported Platform is not an amendment to any agreement, and it does not affect a Claim already issued, a Drop window already open, or a reply bonus not yet settled. Every Claim is evaluated at its post’s timestamp against the terms snapshot in force when it was issued, and that stays true no matter what this page says later.
